Picture of Our Church Buckingham Presbyterian Church, Berlin, MD, was organized by Francis Makemie in 1683. It originally met on the Buckingham Plantation south of the present town of Berlin, Maryland.  Rev. Makemie organized congregations along the bay and ocean coasts of Maryland and Virginia. 

A Meeting House was built on the Buckingham Plantation and our congregation was born.
