Monday, Feb. 14 is of course Valentine’s Day, the national holiday in which we make our annual contributions to the Hallmark greeting card and Russel Stover candy companies.  It’s a fun day to remember to say “I love you” to our spouses, our kids, our friends and families. 

As Christians, though, we are called to not only say - but to show our love - for one another and others – every day. Every…single…day.  And the love we are called to show is harder to capture in a card or inscribe on a candy heart. The love we are called to show goes deeper and has a longer, wider impact – especially when it’s shared not just between two people – but shared by an entire community.
