Scripture Readings for Sunday, February 6 – Ordination/Installation Sunday!!!
Isaiah 6: 1-8
Luke 5: 1-11

Reflection:  Have you had people in your life that have encouraged you to “go deep?”  To help you see something that you hadn’t seen before in yourself and in your faith? Whoever that person may be for you, all Christians have one person who asks us to always “go deep” – and that’s Jesus.  He calls us to go deep in faith.  Deep in trust.  The Gospel makes it clear – in order to follow Jesus, going deep is a must.

Let’s talk without fear of the deepness of our calling as Christians coupled by the deepness of God’s love. Let’s do so as we ordain and install, bless and give thanks for our church’s new leaders who have grabbed their nets and said “yes!” to their call to fish for men and women, calling all into the deep love of God to be found in the community of faith.
