Perfect Practice

Learning an instrument takes great practice. (Just ask any music teacher!) Practice, they say, makes perfect. Perfect practice is even better in the process of perfecting one’s music.  As Christians, we need to practice our faith daily. In our reading for this week, Paul calls all Christians to be “imitators” of Jesus. That is – to practice what Jesus preached, living lives rooted in selfless, sacrificial love.  Our faith practice involves many disciplines. On Sunday we’ll look at three of them: growing in wisdom; regular worship; and daily offerings of gratitude to God.
