Preparing for Impact

Reflection:

This week's service will be a bit different.  We will first join with the festive parade of those who met Jesus as He came into Jerusalem - welcoming Him as they did with waving palms and shouts of "Hosanna!"  We will also, then, as they did and much to their chagrin, turn our eyes to Jesus's Passion, where this festive parade will end for Him.  The people on that first Palm Sunday were just not fully prepared for the impact that Jesus would have on their lives and for the world.

The question for us today is:  Are we?

The passion of Christ is a story of terror in which, against all odds, love wins.  How might this story reshape your week, your life, our world?  Where will you commit to letting love win?  How will this change your life?
