Too Much?

Reading: I John 4: 7-21

Reflection: Can we ever have too much of a good thing? Well, if we’re honest – yes! Depending on the “thing” we’re talking about, that is. But one thing we can never have enough of – is love. Specifically, God’s love – or “agape” as it’s known in the Bible. This beautiful Greek word describes a unique kind of love that starts with God and lives in us. It is “perfect” love that “casts out fear” and gives us courage to share it with others. It’s love that has and does and will always have the potential to change the world.
