"Open!" Says He

Passage: Mark 7:31-37
Reflection:
We've all heard a magician say the words "open sesame," haven't we? It's a classic magical incantation used to open things that are closed. It seems to work (for magicians anyway!) on closets, safes and doors. But what about closed hearts? Who can open those and help us hear and see, believe, and speak of the goodness of God and God's image in all people?
I believe we all know the answer to be: Jesus! Open, says He, and follow me!
