Faith Despite Fear

July 04, 2021 | Mark Piedmonte

Passage: Mark 4:35-41

Reflection:

We’ve all had scary moments that just stopped us in our tracks – yes?  Think about it – something comes to mind, I bet. What was it that caused that fear? How did you feel? But more importantly; how did you respond to your fear? This week we will find ourselves on that famous boat with the disciples as they face the sudden storm on the Sea of Galilee.  And where is Jesus? He’s asleep!  Just when they needed Him the most, Jesus gets some shut eye. How did they respond? How do we – when we need Jesus but just can’t see how’s he helping us in our time of need?  Let’s talk about storms and how our faith - despite the fear - is all we need to get through, to be still, and have peace.
See you soon,
Mark
